1750 is the birth year of the French General Donatien-Marie-Joseph Rochambeau, the French Admiral Louis Thomas Villaret de Joyeuse, the French abolitionist and cleric Henri Grégoire as well as that of Jacques Vincent Ogé, the influential member of the Amis des Noirs and the leader of the 1790 rebellion.
