Diego Colón Moniz (Lisbon, Portugal 1474 - Montálban, Spain February 2, 1526) was the first born son of Christopher Columbus and Filipa Moniz. In 1509 succeeded Nicolas de Ovando as 4th Governor of Hispaniola. From May 1511 to 1518 he held the position of Viceroy of the Indies.
