Jean Kina

Jean Kina was a maroon who fought on the side of the British during the Haitian Revolution. The Corps of Jean Kina entered British pay in 1793 and in 1794 became part of the Chasseurs de George III.
Kina also fought on behalf of Grands Blancs.
Kina led a revolt in the South of Saint-Domingue in December of 1800. (Korngold p. 236)
