'Mèsi Papa Desalin' (Thank you Father Desalin) is a famous poem by Félix Morisseau-Leroy (Kreyol: Feliks Moriso-Lewa) (March 13, 1912 Grand-Gosier, Haiti - September 5, 1998 Miami, USA), written in 1979 -"Thank you Father Dessalines", in the original Kreyol below and translated in English.
